Each kid will face a series of spicy challenges, working their way up from milder peppers to hotter varieties.
How It Works:
- Pepper Levels:
The competition will have different levels, starting with mild peppers like bell peppers and moving up to slightly hotter varieties like jalapeños or banana peppers. Don’t worry—it’s all about fun, so the hottest peppers won’t be ghost or Carolina Reapers – at least not for kids, super hots are just for parents. - Spicy Chips Levels
In parallel to competition with different pepper levels, there’s will be lots of spicy chips to try, starting with milder variants like Takis Fuego or Blue Heat up to much hotter chips like Hot Chip Strips Bruschette and Hot Chip Strips Limed Habaneros. - Costume Contest Bonus:
Since it’s Halloween, all participants are encouraged to come in their spookiest or most creative costumes. There will be bonus points for the best costumes, and even the brave kids in pumpkin or chili-themed outfits get extra cheers! - Trick-or-Treat Chili Challenges:
After each round of pepper eating, participants can opt for a “trick” or a “treat.” Treats might be prizes like sweets or fun, non-spicy food, while “tricks” could involve eating a slightly hotter pepper or performing a funny Halloween challenge.
